Introduction
Objective
To build a foundation place for our SIM UOW community by acting as a portal to support the student body of UOW both in studies and in life. Enable bonding and collaboration across members that will unite under one name of SIM UOW Students Council.
Meaning behind the logo The Student Council was formed to enable more bonding within the student body, which the ribbon represents; the cohesiveness the Student Council would like to bring.
The globe represents the community and the wings represent us working as a community to reach beyond our limits.
The USB symbol represents our Student Council having a connection with the Student body.
The Student Council also promotes a desire to learn and the fire represents our burning desire to learn.
The puzzle represents creativity and logical thinking which UOW provides us in our learning journey.
And last but not least our Council is represented by a crown representing excellence.
Valentine Event 2011
Valentine’s day is the day to show your love. And our UOW student council has more than one way to show it.We have 2 kinds of Ferrerose, a Ferrero chocolate covered with petals or gift wraps to make it look like a flower. And then we have Love Saga, saga seeds in a bottle, Love Chemistry, a test tube filled with lovely trinkets and a love message. All of this handmade by our UOW SC members and it was a sold out.
BBQ Event 2011
Kite Flying Event 2011
Our first event of the year was Kite-flying. This event is symbolized by the element 风 [feng], which means wind in chinese. We’ve decided to theme all 4 gatherings of the year using the 4 basic elements [风, 火, 水, 土].
We had a nice lunch and ice breaking session, and we started on with our main attraction, kite flying! Of course, when some of them got tired from running and keeping the kite flying up in the sky, they formed a group and played monopoly deal.

Let's Party 2010
So UOW students is not only about study. We do held a gathering events to UOW students such as celebrating the special day. This time is Thanksgiving Celebration!!
On this day we exchanging gifts ,playing games and having funs with all of our friends. Not to mention the venue itself was decorated by UOW-SC's member to create a Christmas theme to let the fun and warm atmosphere fill out the room.
The most fun part is during the exchange game when some happy with what they get and some is just sulked at behind knowing what they get.
